Select the MacTCP Control Panel from the Apple Menu or open it by
double clicking on the icon. |

Ensure the PPP icon is selected. If this is not shown, the PPP extension
is not correctly installed. Check your extensions folder for a file
called PPP. |

Set the IP address as 0.0.0.0 If you cannot do this, go to the next
step. |

Click on the More... button and on the new screen: |

Select Manually from the Obtain address menu.

Set the address as class A. |

Set the Net, Subnet and Node all to contain 0 (you may have to uncheck
the lock boxes next to each of them to be able to do this). |

Set the Gateway address in the Routing information section to 0.0.0.0 |

In the Domain name server section, set the first name box to be
158.43.240.4, the address next to it to be 158.43.240.3 and click
on the first default button. |

Select Server from the Obtain address menu.

This should complete
the setup of MacTCP. Please ensure that you also configure ConfigPPP
before attempting to establish a link.
