Select the MacTCP Control Panel from the Apple Menu or open it by
double clicking on the icon.

Ensure the PPP icon is selected. If this is not shown, the PPP extension
is not correctly installed. Check your extensions folder for a file
called PPP.

Set the IP address as 0.0.0.0 If you cannot do this, go to the next
step.

Click on the More... button and on the new screen:

Select Manually from the Obtain address menu.
|

Set the address as class A.
|
7)
|
Set the Net, Subnet and Node all to contain 0 (you may have to uncheck
the lock boxes next to each of them to be able to do this).

Set the Gateway address in the Routing information section to 0.0.0.0
|
9)
|
In the Domain name server section, set the first name box to be
158.43.240.4, the address next to it to be 158.43.240.3 and click
on the first default button.

10)
|
Select Server from the Obtain address menu.
|
11)
|
This should complete
the setup of MacTCP. Please ensure that you also configure ConfigPPP
before attempting to establish a link.
