Free Dialup Setup Instructions

Windows 2000 Setup
The following instructions describe how to creating a new dialup connection to Freshweb Dial

1)	To begin, click the 'Windows Start menu', select 'Settings', select 'Network and Dial-up Connections'.
2)	Double click the 'Make New Connection' icon.
3)	A dialogue box will open which will welcome you to the Network Connection Wizard, click 'Next'.
4)	Select the 'dial-up to the Internet' option and click 'Next'.
5)	Select 'I want to set up my Internet connection manually' (3rd option), and click 'Next'.
6)	Select 'I connect through a phone line and a modem and click next'.
7)	Type in 08451231674 into the 'Telephone number' box (leave area code blank). Make sure that the 'Use area code and dialing rules box' is unchecked and click next.
8)	Type in your 'username' (e.g. bcc000000) and your 'password' (e.g. verify) and click 'next'. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please refer to your Freshweb Dial welcome e-mail, or alternatively contact Freshweb Dial
9)	Type a name for your new connection, such as Freshweb Dial and click 'next'.
	The following instructions explain how to setup an e-mail account using Microsoft Outlook Express.
10)	Select 'Yes' to 'Do you want to setup an Internet mail account now?' and click 'next'.
11)	Select 'Create a new Internet mail account' and click 'next'.
12)	Type in your name in the 'Display name' box and click 'next'.
13)	Type in your e-mail address (e.g. joeb@Freshweb Dial) in the 'E-mail address' box and click 'next'. If you have forgotten your e-mail address, please refer to your Freshweb Dial welcome e-mail, or alternatively contact Freshweb Dial
14)	Select 'POP3' as the incoming mail server type in the drop down menu.
15)	Type 'mail.freshmail.co.uk' as the Incoming mail server address, and click 'next'.
16)	Type 'mail.freshmail.co.uk' as the Outgoing mail server address, and click 'next'.
17)	Type in your 'username' (e.g. bcc000000) and your 'password' (e.g. verify), and select the 'Remember password' box, and click 'next'. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, please refer to your Freshweb Dial welcome e-mail, or alternatively contact Freshweb Dial
18)	Uncheck the 'Connect to the Internet' box and click 'Finish'.
	To use your new Freshweb Dial Internet connection, click the Windows Start menu, select Settings, select Network and Dial-up Connections and double click the Freshweb Dial icon.
